"My show is going to tell you how and why I get bored in my lovely town of Saint-Pourçain-Sur-Sioule in this year 2009. You’ll understand how and why I decided to give myself a new boost at 87. You’ll discover how and for how much you can go on the trip of a lifetime without digging too far into your pocket: A pilgrimage to Lourdes! Grandma Nénette is going to tell you everything! Everything! The best and even the worst, but before talking to you about it, we’ll listen to a little bit of Pierre Bachelet!" Jeanette, nicknamed Nénette since she was a little girl, was born in 1922 in Saint-Pourçain-Sur-Sioule. She married big Marcel after the war because her beloved Henri never came back. She would be haunted all her life by the memory of Andrew, an English paratrooper she tenderly loved and had found stranded in her garden while the Germans occupied the town. She’ll tell you about her memories of a booze-filled trip to Lourdes. Grandma is an epicurean, She knows how to treat herself with a nice little Suze to ease her sorrow.
