In De Helling, you can hear the heartbeat of the local underground scene, and it sounds a lot like a breakbeat. Set the Bar dives deep into the local bass movement, showcasing crews that are pushing the boundaries of club culture. Here – in the intimate setting of De Helling’s café – various forward-thinking artists from Utrecht and the Netherlands take the stage. Artists you might not know yet, but who are bound to become familiar faces in the Dutch club scene. Come dance to curated club sounds from the underground. Mokum Rave Massive Mokum Rave Massive is a growing collective with its heart in the underground rave culture surrounding multi-genre bass music. MRM creates accessible (outdoor) events like those often found in the UK drum and bass scene. Inspired by the free-city movement, MRM stands for self-expression, collective autonomy, and the power of people creating spaces outside of imposed control. MRM honours the roots of rave culture: community over profit, music over ego, freedom over fame. Their events strive to break down barriers so no one is excluded. Onze concerten zijn voor alle leeftijden toegankelijk, t/m 14 jaar adviseren we wel om samen met een volwassene te komen. Voor clubnachten geldt een minimumleeftijd van 18 jaar tenzij anders vermeld. De Helling is PIN-Only. Dit betekent dat wij bij de kassa, bar en garderobe geen contant geld kunnen aannemen. Neem dus je pinpas of creditcard mee. De garderobe is verplicht voor grote tassen en jassen en kost €2,25 per item. Ben je verhinderd en kan je niet meer naar een concert of clubnacht in De Helling?
